Why does being nice have to hurt so bad?

I'm not a wuss, i just play one on TV. LOL. Now seriously, giving blood helps to save lives. I know that the Red Cross sells blood, but think of it as converting your donation from blood to money. It's all the same in the grand scheme of things. The money can be used at a later date where as the blood would not have been viable later, just a thought. Anyways i made a link on the right for those of you that want to give it a try. No pain no gain, well not too much pain. =)

So there are things in life that we all say we'll get to...take out the trash, vacuum the floor, do the laundry. Well yesterday I got around to doing this...

It took about an hour and was relatively painless. They take a pint of blood which is about the same as a little bottle of water. The doctor said that a pint would help three people. Pretty cool stuff.
