Comcast tampering with network traffic

So it looks like ISP Comcast is tampering with its users network traffic in an attempt to limit users of bit torrents and other p2p software. I never thought we'd see this kind of abuse from large service providers, you would think that they needed to protect the free usage of their customers and not the interests of large corporations. I guess that Comcast would rather you believe that your software is defective instead of telling you that they do not support p2p. Nope, that would send a message to you that you should not be using Comcast's service, so Comcast simply limits your usage without telling you about it or why they are doing it.
