So there are things in life that we all say we'll get to...take out the trash, vacuum the floor, do the laundry. Well yesterday I got around to doing this...
It took about an hour and was relatively painless. They take a pint of blood which is about the same as a little bottle of water. The doctor said that a pint would help three people. Pretty cool stuff.

Oh, that's a brave and great thing to do... blood drive. Something I'm so chicken to do so far. Big needle, pint of blood, aaawwwww... :( Someday, I will give out my blood out to help someone... someday.
That's awesome! I donate whenever I can. That's like 6 times a year or every 56 days.But every time I donate it takes forever to for them to locate my vein. So my arm feels all delicate and tender afterwards. The only downside of it but its a small sacrifice. Keep donating!
